Northwest Asian Weekly isn’t just a newspaper …

When Publisher Assunta Ng founded the paper, her intent and goals have always been oriented toward community-building. She wanted to give opportunities and recognition to deserving people. This is why she founded the Northwest Asian Weekly Foundation, a nonprofit that strives to spotlight and empower women of color, youth, Asian American pioneers, and top community contributors.
